HandStep establishes HandStep Ltd. in UK as part of its international expansion.
2006 – Focused growth
Keeping pace with the market in general, HandStep sees continued growth.
The company’s headcount rises steadily, and a considerable number of leading companies are now HandStep customers.
2005 – Strategic development
HandStep is the leading supplier of mobile solutions in Denmark. Christian Poulsen (formerly of HP Netman and Carl Bro) is appointed managing director. Microsoft, Denmark calls HandStep Europe’s leading developer of mobile solutions.
2003 – Market breakthrough
HandStep increases the number of strategic application partners and solutions, and moves towards OEM sales of tried and tested technology. At this point, HandStep is one of the only suppliers of stable, independent mobile solutions designed to meet customer needs.
2001 – Start-up
HandStep starts working with leading software companies that produce widely recognized technology – XcelleNet is the company’s first strategic partner. The company signed agreements with its first major collaborative partners, including Novo Nordisk IT (NNIT), Cultivator and Pharmexa.
1999 – A great idea
Brian Nielsson establishes HandStep in the midst of the IT and telecoms boom in the late 1990s. The company chooses a solutions-oriented business model that focused on customer needs and started with a humble attitude towards delivering value and solutions to end-users.
